Whispering Woods - Custom Marching Productions

Whispering Woods

Take the audience on a journey through an enchanted forest, led by a group of mysterious Wisps represented by the color guard. Will the band be able to escape the forest after being lured by the Wisps' haunting melody?

  • Call of the Wisps - the first movement introduces the mysterious call of the Wisps with a soloist. The music is ethereal and inviting, drawing the performers and audience into the depths of the mystical woods.
  • Dance With the Wisps - in this movement, the interaction between the band and the Wisps unfolds in a mesmerizing dance. The mystifying waltz represents the control that the Wisps have over the band.
  • Escape - the final movement marks a shift in mood as the band seeks to obtain their freedom. The music becomes more urgent and intense, reflecting peril and ultimate victory as they emerge triumphantly outside the forest.
