Up in Flames
This show is a celebration of the beauty, unpredictability, and raw power of fire, presented in 4 distinct movements: Spark, Smoke, Flame Dance, and Inferno. Features original music by Alex Yoder.
- Spark - a pair of soloists introduce the main theme as the spark grows into a flame
- Smoke - a smoky latin-inflected opener
- Fire Dance - the smoke blows away, revealing the mesmerizing dance of the flame. Develops into a massive climax as the fire begins to flare up once more.
- Inferno - represent the all-consuming power of fire as the field is engulfed in flames (figuratively, of course)
