How Great Thou Art
Inspired by Michelangelo's legendary frescoes on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, this show features original music with references to well known hymn melodies
- Blank Canvas - This flourishing fanfare of an opener combines original material with the well-known hymn, "A Mighty Fortress is Our God".
- Patient Progress - A euphonium (or similar instrument) soloist leads this tranquil, reverent ballad to a beautiful, full ensemble conclusion. Visually, this could represent Michelangelo's process of painting, using props or other visual cues.
- Glory - The paintings are finished, and a new theme is introduced and leads to a massive half-time hit before the glorious finale.
Prime Series
