Behind the Mirror

An intriguing exploration of reflection and self-perception, this show delves into themes of obsession, self-image, and personal discovery. The "Mirror Theme" works as a leitmotif, recurring throughout the show to signify the presence and influence of the mirror's reflection.

• Catch a Glimpse - the show opens mysteriously, with a soloist introducing the Mirror Theme. This develops into a dark but frenetic opener, characterizing self-obsession.
• Illusions of Grandeur - a new melody portrays the loneliness and isolation of self-centeredness, growing to a powerful climax. Then, a hopeful theme of self-reflection is introduced.
• Self Reflection - this movement starts as a battle between narcissism and self-reflection, with two themes battling for dominance. Ultimately, love and acceptance wins out as the finale comes to a triumphant resolution.
• Inner Sanctuary - the optional "outro" hints that we must constantly guard against the mirror's seductive allure, with the Mirror Theme ultimately getting the last word.
