Balance
Search for visual and musical balance in this production. The opener includes side-to-side woodwind vs. brass balance, with everyone coming together at the end. The 2nd movement is a peaceful, tranquil reflection - think "inner balance". Finally, a contemporary fugue-like closer leads to a series of pitchbending sound effects that pan from left to right, setting up a resounding finale where full balance is finally achieved.
