Queen of the Hive

A tale of tyranny, betrayal, and the coming of a new era, portrayed through the metaphor of a bee hive. Features original music with full sound effects design.

• Reign of Terror - The queen (a clarinet soloist or other woodwind) holds court over her subjects in this buzzing, menacing opener.
• A New Queen - The birth of another queen is heralded by a french horn soloist in the hushed beginnings of this movement. She is revealed in the climactic final moments, as the music becomes more confrontational.
• Rebellion - A twisted and warped version of "Flight of the Bumblebee" takes over as the hive rebels against its former ruler.
• A New Era - With the old queen gone, the hive celebrates its new queen and the age to come.
